Hi there everybody!
This here is the good ol' introduction board. Every forum needs one, and it's a good way for me to keep track of who's here. So I'll get the ball rolling:
My name is Laura. I'm a World Literature graduate from Simon Fraser University and I founded this forum because I miss the exciting world of literary discussion. I'm hoping to open up a new way for all of us -- current students, alumni, and literature enthusiasts alike -- to keep all of those discussions going.
Let's have fun and open our minds!

Hello there!
You can call me Lunettes, and I'm coming into this forum with an English-literature/publishing/editing heavy background! I look forward to being able to chat about my favourite books, and my favourite language conventions, including the overuse of exclamation points(!)

Hi,
I only have incomplete education, but would like to be involved in literature discussions exactly like this forum advertised - like I was back in school haha!
I like to read all sorts of things ranging from comic books to religious books to science fiction to historical fiction to non-fiction etc.
I don't read as much anymore, so I hope to find people who have already read the same books I have - which is hard to do since people don't have much time for reading anymore.
Anyways, I do have a suggestion for this forum, I wonder if a section for religious/spiritual books and section for historical fiction and section for non-fiction can be added?
I really like the structure of this site which stood out to me amongst the other book club forums out there - it's really tiring to go through a clutter of threads like a pile of old magazines, so I really like how organized this forum is.

I noticed you have an Atlas Shrugged quote attached, that is one of my favorite books too - I had written down all my favorite quotes from that book, if I can find them I'll post them in the appropriate section🍻
